Preparation of the healthcare practitioner to utilize new knowledge to provide high quality healthcare, initiate change, and improve practice. Evidence-based practice serves as a foundation to translate knowledge for best outcomes. Focus on synthesis of assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating the health and illness outcomes of clients (individuals, families and communities), and communicating outcomes through dissemination both in oral and written formats.
