CSC 486 - Security Design Project

CSC 370, CSC 378, CSC 386. (3).

Advanced studies in computer security, with an emphasis on oral and written presentation. Topics include designing secure systems, integrating firewall with intrusion detection system and other security controls, proposing new security tools based on current need. Students develop a semester-long project of high complexity emphasizing computer/network security and present it in written and oral form. Graded ABCDE/Y.
