The unique interaction of culture and cultural values with health care beliefs, values and practices and how the impact these have on the utilization of the healthcare system are explored. Leininger’s Theory of Culture Care Diversity and Universality and the Sunrise Enabler are used as a basis for studying the relationship between culture, health, social justice, and health disparities. The various approaches necessary to provide culturally congruent and sensitive care across the lifespan are explored. Graded ABCDE. [“”]
