Children’s literature as a vehicle for philosophical discussion. Views of the nature of concepts such as the self and self-awareness, life and death, reality and illusion, reason and emotion, and freedom and responsibility. Devices used in philosophical inquiry compared with forms of thinking usually associated with children. Graded ABCDE. [“Infrequently”]
