At least sophomore standing or consent of instructor. (3).

Identity development of African American college men aged 18-26, and how leadership and service intersect with that experience and can be fostered. Examination of Black males’ diverse experiences, traditional and emerging definitions of masculinity in the U.S, and socially constructed images of men. Designed to challenge, support and help students define and redefine for themselves what it means to be a Black man in contemporary American society. Graded ABCDE.
