Exploration of the three core institutions of U.S. government (Presidency, Congress, and Supreme Court), including examination of theories and historical perspectives on each. Special emphasis on the nature and sources of power in the institutions, how they shape political outcomes, and how citizens interact with government through interest groups and political parties.
