NUR 510 - Office/Minor Emergency Procedure

Admission to MSN program or consent of Program Director. (1).

Theory and technical skills basic to the beginning management of common office and emergency situations. Supervised laboratory practice for basic suturing techniques, application of splints and casts, incision and drainage of abscesses, management of the hostile patient, collection of medical evidence and others. May be reelected for credit. Graded ABCDE/Y.
