Examination of political issues and themes related to domestic and international films and documentaries. Relationship of films and documentaries to public opinion, public policy, social issues, social movements, and race and gender studies in domestic and comparative contexts. Relationship of images and stereotypes to public policy and public opinion; examination of film depictions of government actors and activities. Graded ABCDE. Offered infrequently.
