MTH 363 - Games and Game Theory

Grade of C (2.0) or better in one from: MTH 200, MTH 220, MTH 222, MTH 230. (3).

Analysis of both combinatorial and sociological games. Topics include Nim and Nim-like games, Hex, the Sprague-Grundy Theorem, zero-sum games, the prisoner’s dilemma, Nash equilibria, linear programming. Individual projects allow students to investigate games of their own choice. Graded ABCDE.
