Key concepts, analytical frameworks, questions developed by feminist and queer scholars, historical context and development of feminist and queer movements with a focus on the U.S. The social constructions of sexuality, gender and sex, as they relate to identity, expression and wider social relations, and as they manifest in lived experience, institutional settings, texts, and popular culture.
