Health Care Administration Program (BS)

Prerequisite. MTH 090  or placement into MTH 111  on Math Department placement exam (should be taken prior to beginning the program).

Requirements.  At least 124 credits, as follows:

1. General Education requirements , to include SOC 215 .
2. Health Administration foundation (24 credits). HCR 300 , HCR 304 , HCR 305 , HCR 370 , HCR 376 , HCR 400 , HCR 411 , HCR 487 .
3. Public Health foundation (9 credits). PHS 315 , HCR 368 , HCR 385 .
4. Functional areas of Health Administration (15 credits). HCR 301 , HCR 377 , HCR 410 , HCR 477 , HCR 478 .
5. Managing diversity (3 credits). HCR 362 .
6. Electives in Health Care (6 credits). From: AGE 350 , AGE 352 , AGE 378 , HCR 363 , HCR 404 , HCR 461 , PHS 210 , PHS 331 , PHS 420 , PHS 421 .
7. Capstone/Internship (3-6 credits). HCR 390 . (PHS 390  for those exempt from HCR 390 ).
8. Completion of departmental Key Concepts test for assessment purposes.
