Management


Major in Management

Objectives. The Management major prepares students for professional careers in the administration and management of work forces in all types of organizations.

The curriculum emphasizes leadership and team skills. The major also gives the students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in specific tracks of entrepreneurship and operations management.

Management faculty members are available to consult with students wishing to pursue careers in any of the afore-mentioned areas.

Requirements. In addition to the requirements for the BBA degree , at least 18 additional credits as follows:

  1. Core courses (9 credits).
    MGT 347 , MGT 449 ; one from:  MGT 359 , BUS 394 , INB 442 , MGT 443 .
  2. Track option (9 credits).  One of the following: 
    Entrepreneurship.  EIM 340 , EIM 349 , EIM 440 .
    Operations Management. FIN 316  or MGT 373 , MGT 472 , MGT 473 .

Minimum Credits For the Degree. 120 credits
