A minimum of 78 credits is required, depending on certification exam requirements and course waivers: Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (78-84 cr.), Family Nurse Practitioner (81-87 cr.), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (81-87 cr.), and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (85-91 cr.)

Transfer Credit
Up to twelve (12) credits of graduate coursework completed at an accredited institution may be accepted for transfer or waiver. Tansfers and waivers of credit are subject to the approval of the Graduate Student Affairs Committee and are made in accordance with the policies of the Graduate Program Committee.
Requirements (for the MSN with advanced practice certification).
Thirty-three to thirty-six credits are required, depending on course waivers.
Up to six (6) credits of graduate coursework completed at an accredited institution may be accepted for transfer or waiver.
