The University of Michigan-Flint School of Nursing Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) Adult/Adolescent undergraduate certificate is designed for Registered Nurses (RNs), as well as students in the UM-Flint Nursing RN to BSN program, Nursing Master of Science program, or Doctor of Nursing Practice program.

The certificate prepares students for positions as Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). Upon completion of the coursework and the required number of clinical hours, the student is prepared to take the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN) SANE-A certification exam.
