In-depth exploration of phases of pharmacokinetics, including chemical processes that impact drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion. Examination of the major drug categories, indications for use, drug selection, titration of dose, key adverse effects, safe prescribing, monitoring of therapy, evaluation of efficacy, and alternate drugs. Special concerns in prescribing for children, adolescents, and older adults will be investigated.
