Exploration of theories and concepts from physical, behavioral, and holistic sciences as they relate to the diagnosis and management of common chronic and acute episodic health problems of the adult will be explored. Special attention is given to the problems endemic to underserved populations. Emphasis is on critical thinking, evidence-based practice and culturally competent care.
