This course will focus on the management of emotional, ethical, physical, evidence-based, and culturally congruent health care of women from adolescence through post-menopause as well as STIs for both men and women. Emphasis is placed on anticipatory guidance and preconceptual, prenatal and post-partum experiences of women. The clinical component will focus on the refinement and synthesis of advanced practice skills emphasizing the special health needs of women and current diagnostic and treatment protocols.
