Foundations for understanding the historical, fluid and dynamic contexts of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, class and privilege, in which diverse humans struggle to thrive. Study of the experiences and implications of human diversity in social justice efforts. Provides students skills of self-reflection to recognize, analyze, evaluate and regulate their thinking and actions, encouraging development of a professional use of self and commitment to serve agents of change for social justice.
