Examination of major contemporary motivational and behavioral change theories and models that support nurse-driven, client-centered health education and health promotion initiatives. Combining this theoretical knowledge with associated empirical studies, students begin to explore practical applications of these theories in promoting healthy evidence-based behaviors.
