PHS 315 - Introduction to Epidemiology

At least junior standing, HCR 300, MTH 090 with a grade of C (2.0) or higher within last 5 years or placement into MTH 111 or higher on UM-Flint Math Deparrtment placement exam within last 5 years. PHS 347 or equivalent strongly recommended. (3) FQ.

Basic concepts and tools necessary to describe and understand how diseases are distributed in populations. Levels of prevention, risk factors, and study designs emphasized.
