This course focuses on advanced health assessment and differential diagnosis for infants, toddlers, children and adolescents. Focus is placed on diagnostic reasoning including developmental, laboratory and diagnostic testing as a framework using cultural competence and evidenced based practice to synthesize knowledge for comprehensive assessments of pediatric clients. Advanced health assessment techniques are emphasized and refined. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are utilized to promote expanding proficiency in conducting history and physical examinations on the pediatric population. Graded ABCDE. [“”]
