Introduction to basic concepts of human genetics. Periconceptual counseling and prenatal diagnosis, implications of presymptomatic diagnosis, cancer risk education/counseling. Considerable emphasis on ethical, legal and social issues involved and the nurse’s role. Graded ABCDE. Offered infrequently.
