SWR 539 - Special Topics in Social Work Practice

Graduate standing, SWR 100 or consent of instructor. (1-3).

Special topics in particular fields of social work practice, considered with dual focus on the emerging context of socio-economic trends, policy, etiology and theories of social function, impact on populations at risk, and evidence-based best practices in social welfare services delivery. Not open to students who have credit for SWR 439. May be offered in different calendar and/or pedagogical/instructional formats. Topics announced in the course schedule; may be reelected when topics vary. Graded ABCDE.
