Study of distribution, transportation, network planning and analysis, warehouse management, and strategic procurement, highlighting interconnections between procurement, logistics and supply chain management. Includes supply management activities such as global sourcing, supplier selection, and supplier management. Students learn about cost trade-offs in the supply chain and to take a systems perspective for decision making. Use of multiple simulations allows student to apply concepts covered in the course to real life scenarios. Graded ABCDE.
