International perspectives on contemporary issues related to accounting and finance,  important for today’s accounting professionals.  Topics include differences in practice and principle among accounting standards such as the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), foreign currency translation, national and international financial statements, international transfer pricing, international taxation issues, ethical implications associated with accounting standards and reporting systems, and strategic accounting problems and issues for multinational corporations.  Not open to students with credit for ACC 452. Graded ABCDE
