Genetics of populations, selection models, geographic variation, adaptation, population structure, mating systems, species concepts, and molecular evolution. Emphasis on evolutionary mechanisms in populations. Lecture, laboratory, and some Saturday field trips. Not open to students with credit for BIO 453. Graded ABCDE
