Grade of C (2.0) or better in CHM 150 or a one-year high school chemistry course; completion or concurrent enrollment in MTH 118 or MTH 120 or higher, or placement into MTH 121. (4) N

Introduction to principles and theories, including atomic and molecular structure, bonding, stoichiometry, thermochemistry, gas laws, solutions and the solid state. Four hours lecture weekly. *CHM 260 and 261 together are applicable to the natural science general education requirement. Graded ABCDE
