Exploration of the foundations of yoga and its benefits toward developing a sound, healthy body and clear, peaceful mind. Yoga tradition and history; yoga anatomy, body postures, breathing techniques, and meditation techniques for physical health and mental well-being; contemporary yoga styles. Emphasis on awareness of health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. Emphasis on how yoga serves populations from prenatal to the elderly and everyone in-between. May be reelected to a total of 6 credits. Graded ABCDE
