Exploration of the classical dance forms of ballet and modern dance with others such as Javanese, Bharatanatyam and Ballet Folklorico. Physical performance in class paired with historical analysis of recorded and live dance performances, with particular attention paid to the development of strength, flexibility, stamina, terminology, and non-verbal creative movement vocabulary.
