Investigation of strategies to foster fair and equitable AI systems, approaches to minimize biases, and methods to address key issues to establish user trust. Through practical case studies, students learn methods to identify issues of fairness, justice and truth in AI applications, along with recent techniques to detect and mitigate algorithmic biases to state-of-the-art machine learning models.
