Engineering Science BS

Prerequisites. (57 credits).

1. ENG 112  (3 credits).
2. MTH 121 , MTH 122 , MTH 220 , MTH 222 , MTH 305  (18 credits).
3. CSC 175  / CIS 175 . (4 credits).
4. CHM 260 , CHM 261 , CHM 262  (7 credits).
5. PHY 243 , PHY 245  (10 credits).
6. EGR 102 , EGR 165 , EGR 230 , EGR 260 , EGR 280  (15 credits).

Students planning to follow the Managerial Engineering Track should elect ECN 201 , ECN 202  and a course in statistics (e.g.,BUS 211 ).

Requirements.(46-47 credits).

1. EGR 310 , EGR 315 , EGR 321 , EGR 330 , EGR 370 , EGR 380 , EGR 466  (21 credits).
2. Two Engineering Science laboratory courses for students following Option A, or the Computer Engineering or Managerial Engineering track, one for students following the Engineering Physics track. (1-2 credits).
3. Completion of one of the following tracks (24 credits).
   Computer Engineering.
   CSC 265 , CSC 275 , CSC 277 ; at least 14 additional credits in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems courses at the 300 level or above.
   Managerial Engineering.
   Completion of the Minor in General Business .
   Engineering Physics.
   PHY 333 , PHY 343 , PHY 354 , PHY 367 , PHY 433 ; elective credits in Engineering Science, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science courses at the 200 level or above to bring the total track credits to 24.
4. All requirements of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Bachelor of Science  degree, including General Education Requirements .
5. Elective credits to bring the total to 128 credits.
