Major in Marketing
Objectives. The Marketing major prepares students for professional careers in marketing such as advertising, sales, consumer research, and new product development in commercial and other organizations.
The curriculum emphasizes the study of those aspects of the firm that are involved with the attributes of the product, its price, the place it will be distributed, and how it will be promoted, known as the “Four P’s”.
Marketing faculty members are available to consult with students wishing to pursue careers in any of the above-mentioned areas.
Requirements. In addition to the requirements for the BBA degree , 18 additional credits as follows:
- MKT 332 , MKT 338 , MKT 438 .
- Three from: FIN 316 , MKT 336 , MKT 394 , MGT 413 , MKT 430 , MKT 432 , MKT 435 , MKT 437 , MGT 443 .
