Philosophy Department information  

Requirements.

1. All requirements for any program in Philosophy, including the Philosophy General Program and the Philosophy Program with Emphasis in Ethics, Social and Political. 
2. All requirements for the Honors Program including: 
   1. HON 155 , HON 156 , HON 251 , HON 252 , HON 393 , HON 498 .
   2. PHL 494  or HON 494  (1 credit).
   3. PHL 495  or HON 495  (optional), PHL 496  or HON 496 .

Prospective Honors Program students are urged to acquaint themselves as early as possible with the requirements above as well as with the particular procedures for acceptance to the Philosophy Department’s Honors Program. See the departmental honors advisor or the Honors Program Director for this information.

Minimum Credits For the Degree. 120 credits
