A program planned with a faculty advisor, including courses from both the Regional Studies and Topical Studies options below. No course may be elected to satisfy requirements for both parts A and B.
Up to 3 credits from a study abroad course, at the Core Faculty’s discretion, may be applied to one of the Option categories.
Regional Studies Option
Focus on various regions of the world from the perspectives of different fields, including art, culture, economy, history, language, literature, music and politics.
Demonstrated proficiency in a foreign language, as evidenced by completion at UM-Flint of one of the following; or equivalent proficiency by examination. (The foreign language requirement is already required of any student seeking a Bachelor of Arts degree.)
