This four-course certificate program is designed to provide working computer science and computer information systems professionals the opportunity to take post-baccalaureate courses directly related to the intelligent systems industry. The program provides essential knowledge in areas related to artificial intelligence, computer vision, data mining, and cloud- and web-based related technologies, all critical to the field of intelligent systems.
Admission to the Program
The program has a rolling admissions policy, meaning that a student can apply at any time and be notified of admission within 2 to 4 weeks. Conditional admission may be granted.
Applications for admission are available from the Office of Graduate Programs. Admission to the program is not granted until the application materials are submitted and reviewed.
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4-point scale.
- Written statement indicating personal goals for graduate study.

Students without a Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Intelligent Systems, or related bachelor’s degree are required to take:
All requirements must be completed within six calendar years of initial enrollment in the program.
An overall grade point average of at least 3.0 is required for program completion. A grade point average less than 3.0 constitutes sufficient basis for probationary status and, if not improved, dismissal from the program. Students with probationary status must make progress toward good standing to continue in the program.
