Specialist in Aging Minor

The Specialist in Aging is designed to provide a broad orientation to the field of aging. The program prepares students for the Michigan Nursing Home Licensure Exam and is intended to complement and enhance career opportunities for students across a variety of majors. The Specialist in Aging program is open to UM-Flint students as a minor and to non-degree students as a certificate program.

Note
If completing the minor along with PHHS major, 9 additional credit hours beyond major requirements must be completed in order to qualify for both the major and the minor.
