Engineering General and Honors Programs (BSE) (Currently on Moratorium)


The Engineering General and Honors Program has been placed on moratorium status and is not currently accepting new students.  Students who have already declared this major will be allowed to complete their program

  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) license examination (typically taken during final term before graduation).  Exam results are required for graduation.
  • Completion of at least 128 credits and all University of Michigan-Flint graduation requirements, including General Education requirements

Honors Program Requirements


Prospective Honors Program students are required to complete all of the above Engineering requirements and University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program  requirements.

Honors Program students are urged to acquaint themselves as early as possible with the requirements above as well as with the particular procedures for acceptance into the Engineering Honors Program. See the Engineering Honors Advisor or the Honors Program Director for this information.
