The Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology program has been placed on moratorium status and is not currently accepting new students. Students who have already declared this major will be allowed to complete their program.

Electives to complete a total of 124 credits. Medical terminology, statistics and critical thinking courses are recommended. Other courses relevant to the major include:

- All University of Michigan-Flint graduation requirements including General Education requirements .
- Cumulative grade point average of at least 2.7 overall.
Note
Completion of the program requirements and the following course qualifies a student to declare both a minor in biology and a major in clinical laboratory science.
Honors Program
All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program. Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
