The Graduate Certificate in Intelligent Systems has been placed on moratorium status and is not currently accepting new students.  Students who have already declared this certificate will be allowed to complete their program.

This four-course certificate program is designed to provide working computer science and computer information systems professionals the opportunity to take post-baccalaureate courses directly related to the intelligent systems industry. The program provides essential knowledge in areas related to artificial intelligence, computer vision, data mining, and cloud- and web-based related technologies, all critical to the field of intelligent systems.

The certificate may be earned in conjunction with a degree program or as a stand-alone credential.  (Students pursuing a stand-alone credential are not eligible for federal financial aid and may not participate in Commencement.)  After the student applies for graduation, the certificate is posted to the student’s official transcript and an official diploma stating the area of the certificate is issued.

The program has a rolling admissions policy, meaning that a student can apply at any time and be notified of admission within 2 to 4 weeks. Conditional admission may be granted.

Applications for admission are available from the Office of Graduate Programs. Admission to the program is not granted until the application materials are submitted and reviewed.

An overall grade point average of at least 3.0 is required for program completion.
