Mathematics Program (BS)


Mathematics (MTH) information  

This program is designed for the student who wants to pursue a career or graduate study in mathematics or a related field. The program prepares students with the core material found required for most mathematically-oriented fields of study, and then offers flexible learning opportunities that can be tailored to a student’s passions. Mathematics faculty and advisors can suggest electives and course selections to prepare students for graduate school, to apply mathematics in business or industry, or to prepare for a career in finance, data science, consulting, or any number of other domains.

Requirements


Completion of at least 120 credits, to include:

A. Technology Foundations


F. Additional Requirements


All requirements of the College of Innovation and Technology  (CIT) Bachelor of Science degree, including General Education  requirements, and all University of Michigan-Flint graduation requirements  .

 

Minimum Credits for the Degree:  120 credits

Honors Program


All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program  . Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
