Mechanical Engineering Program (BSE)

The Mechanical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.

C. Elective Courses


Additional courses to complete a minimum total of 69 credits in AUE, EGR and/or IOE courses, excluding EGR 100 and EGR 235, and including at least 8 credits at the 300 level or above.

D. Additional Requirements


Completion of at least 128 credits

Completion of all College of Innovation and Technology  (CIT) Bachelor of Science requirements, including General Education requirements  and University of Michigan-Flint graduation requirements  

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) license examination (typically taken during the final term before graduation). Exam results are required for graduation.
 

Minimum Credits for the Degree: 128 credits

Honors Program


All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program.  Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
