Anesthesia Practice/Business Administration (Dual DNAP/MBA)

The DNAP/MBA dual program is designed for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with an interest in business or healthcare administration. The curriculum allows the CRNA to apply up to 12 specified credits toward both a DNAP degree and an MBA degree with a concentration in Health Care Management. Applicants apply for admission to the degree programs independently, and the degrees are awarded independently.

The dual program courses are offered in a variety of formats; online, on-campus, and NetPlus! (online with on-campus sessions every six weeks).

DNAP Requirements (92 credits)

All requirements of the Anesthesia DNAP program .

MBA Requirements (45 credits)

All requirements of the Business Administration MBA program with a Health Care Management concentration, except that:

For Foundation courses:
ANE 700 - Introduction to Research (2)
and
ANE 703 - Scholarly Project Analysis (1)
substitute for
SCM 512 - Applied Business Analytics (3)
And the Health Care Management Concentration is fulfilled by the DNAP requirements:
ANE 601 - Administrative Organization and Behavior for Nurse Anesthetists (3)
ANE 605 - Health Policy for DNAP (3)
ANE 677 - Financial Management in Nurse Anesthesia Practice (3)
Minimum Credits for Both Degrees: 125 credits
