The Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Dynamics program offers an opportunity for students interested in developing highly-sought skills in leading and managing organizations to acquire these skills in a challenging educational environment. The program is designed to help students to develop and reinforce the five most critical skills beyond field-specific content knowledge necessary for mid- and upper-level management success: professionalism and work ethic, oral and written communication, teamwork and collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, and ethics and social responsibility.

Admission Information

Transfer of Credit

Transfer credit is limited to no more than nine credits in graduate courses completed in the last 4 years with grades of B or better during enrollment as a graduate student at an AACSB accredited program, and must not be part of another degree. Exceptions to this rule are accepted only in unusual circumstances and then only by approval of the SOM Graduate Programs Committee. Time Limit for Degree Completion

All requirements must be completed within four calendar years of initial enrollment in the program.

Note

An overall grade point average of at least 3.0 is required for program completion. A grade point average less than 3.0 constitutes a sufficient basis for probationary status and, if the grade point average is not improved, dismissal from the program. Students with probationary status must make progress toward “good standing.” Failure to do so may result in required reduction in the maximum courses the student may enroll in or other actions. Courses with grades of D or lower must be retaken. Courses with grades below B may be retaken once for credit. In such cases, both the original grade and the grade received when the course is retaken appear on the transcript and are used in determining the student’s grade point average.
