Exercise Science Program (BS)

The BS in Exercise Science program is designed for students interested in studying relationships between exercise and health and wellness, including in weight control, disease prevention, and nutrition for optimal health and performance.

The program focuses on principles of exercise science across the lifespan and prepares students to work in settings such as corporate wellness, community health, and strength and conditioning, and to seek advanced certifications.  The program is an excellent area of study for students planning to continue into graduate or professional programs in physical therapy or occupational therapy.

All University of Michigan-Flint graduation requirements  including General Education Program  requirements.

 

Overall UM-Flint GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

Minimum Credits for the Degree: 120 credits

Honors Program


All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program . Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
