Human-Centered Design (BS/MS)

This BS/MS program is designed for undergraduate students interested in pursuing an MS degree in Human-Centered Design. The curriculum allows students to earn BS and MS degrees with potentially 16 fewer credits than if completing the degree programs separately.

The degrees are independent; each is awarded when completed, with specified courses accepted for the MS degree after the BS degree is awarded.

The dual program courses are offered in a variety of delivery formats including face-to-face, evening, mixed-mode and online.

Admission to the Program

The program is open to students who have completed at least 60 credits with a minimum GPA of 3.0 toward one of the relevant CIT undergraduate programs.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science (120 credits)

All requirements of a relevant CIT undergraduate program, with the exception that the student works with the advisor to select up to 16 credits of coursework to elect at the graduate instead of undergraduate level, so the courses apply toward both BS and MS programs. A grade of B (3.0) or better is required in each of these courses.
