Thirty-six credits in English, distributed as follows, with each course used to satisfy only one requirement A. Literature (24 credits)
Literary Analysis (3 credits)
Ancient Literatures (3 credits)
One from: American Literature before 1900 (3 credits)
One from: American Literature after 1900 (3 credits)
British Literature before 1800 (3 credits)
One from: British Literature after 1800 (3 credits)
British Literature from Any Period (3 credits)
One additional from: Cross-Cultural Perspectives in Literature (3 credits)
One from: B. Writing (3 credits)
One from: C. Linguistics (3 credits)
One from: D. Capstone Seminar (3 credits)
E. Elective (3 credits)
One additional ENG or ENG-crosslisted course at the 200 level or above. F. Individual Writing Portfolio
