Electrical Engineering Program (BSE)

The Engineering Bachelor of Science program provides students expertise across electronics, systems and control in a way that embodies the science and technology of design, construction, implementation and maintenance of modern equipment and systems and networks of intelligent devices.  Graduates of the program are enabled to analyze and design circuits, to manage hardware components, and to develop processing and control solutions. The program provides excellent preparation for the design and development of modern technologies that shape how we live, work and communicate.

B. Concentration of Choice (12 credits)


Three courses from one of the following concentrations:

C. Other Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (8 credits)


At least eight additional credits in biology, chemistry, computer science, cybersecurity, digital manufacturing technology, engineering, geographic information systems, information technology and informatics, innovation and technology, mathematics, physical geography, physics, and/or sustainability and energy technology, all in courses numbered 200 and above.

D. Additional Requirements


All College of Innovation and Technology (CIT)  Bachelor of Science in Engineering requirements, including General Education  requirements and University of Michigan-Flint graduation requirements 

Honors Program


All bachelor-degree-seeking students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher are eligible to apply to the University of Michigan-Flint Honors Program .  Please contact the Honors Program Manager or the Honors Program Director for further information.
