Analysis of legal limitations and privileges of technologically assisted communication (print, radio, TV and Internet). Students describe and interpret mass communication legal principles, including privileges of free speech, fair comment, libel and slander, and rights of privacy, and develop an ethical approach to make decisions impacting mass communication.
