Introduction to various engineering disciplines and professions. Problem solving using engineering principles, concepts, methods, modeling, design and analysis. Topics related to engineering education and profession, such as metacognition based learning strategies, undergraduate research, plan of study, engineering ethics, professional engineering licensure, engineering economics, probability and statistics, product design and development, manufacturing, computer aided analysis, teamwork and communication. Students work in teams to design and build a project, etc.
