Descriptive and inferential statistics. Appropriate use and interpretation of statistics in urban planning, sustainability science, and related fields. Includes measures of central tendency and variability, hypothesis testing, t-tests, correlation techniques, regression and ANOVA. Application of statistical concepts to real problems through the use of computer software. Also listed as ESS 260.
